I made a picture book out of drawings explaining and showing examples of technoloy used in an optometrist clinic, which relates to my topic.

The book is based on my answers to my essential question and has helped me learn more about my answers.

My component helped me answer my essential question because I had to list and draw the types of technolgy that are part of my answers. I had to organise what type of technology fits where in my answer catigories.

Blog 16: Independent Component 2 Approval

I plan to make a stop motion video. I would spend 1 hour making a script, 1/2 an hour looking up fun facts about the eye, 2 hours to make paper props, and the rest of the time to make the video.

I will have the video and script as my evidence.
3.  Explain how this component will help you explore your topic in more depth.
This topic will help me to learn more facts about the eye and to present them in a different way.

Shadowing my mentor and others who work in an optometry clinic is significant to my project because I get a deeper view on the things that happen in an optometry clinic. My independent component helped me learn more about optometry by spending more time around the optometry office, and at mentorship.
